I have m.e and worsening anxiety for 6 years, i can only go out with someone and when i go into certain situations i feel faint/dizzy weak, i also get a flushed inside dizzy feeling when talking fast or coming back from walking like i have been on gas and air that type of off balance feeling, this is worse when due on. i get this on and off the spaced feeling is it a breathing thing, because it happens when talking and walking or just anytime sometimes, and the other if i have to deal with a situation like school meetings and taking animals to the vet in the room, or if i talk to someone outside especially when i have meet or spoke for a while is this all the dreaded anxiety.......

Hi

I also have some of the symptoms you describe and they are the dreaded anxiety.
They make us feel awful and are so uncomfortable but we are always told that they won't hurt us..... it's believing they won't hurt us that's the hard part.
I have problems getting out too and can only go with my partner at the moment but I am slowly building up what I can do with the help of CBT.
I don't really know much at all about m.e. apart from the fact that it makes you exhausted so it must be really hard to cope with that alongside the anxiety and that must make things tough going for you.
You will get lots of support on this site as there are some lovely people.

Take care

Hello
I have the dizziness too. My CBT therapist said it was because of muscle tension around my jaw and neck which can affect the balance mechanism in your ears and also fatigue as I rarely sleep. If you have m.e. could your dizziness be fatigue? My therapist said to accept the feelings, say ' OK I feel dizzy, so what' then carry on with whatever I'm doing. It's hard to do at first bur seems to be working (slowly).
