Has anyone else tried laughter yoga to help with their anxiety? I've been doing this since last April and it's really helped.
It's nothing like conventional yoga. You start with breathing exercises and then do some silly things to get you laughing, then you spend 10 mins just laughing. It's surprising how easy it is to laugh at nothing when you are in a group! You finish with relaxation. I come away from it with a feeling of well being that lasts into the next day. And on top of that I've made some new friends.
If there is a group near you, give it a go, it's great fun and although it sounds silly, it is recognised as having serious benefits.:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:
