constant heart racing

is ot normal to have constant heart raceing with anxiety? i had horrible heart racing that llasted and hour! everytime i walk or get up it races! i had a ekg! and monter on all night just fas pulse!

Hi i have the same, everytime i wake up it will race ive taken my pulse and its always 140 whem i wake up then it will go down but will always be around the high 90s and in 100 and above, ive had tests done and told im ok, but went to the hospital the other day and now told i might have an electic fault with my heart so what do i believe now going to see my doc on monday to punsh him on his nose if i find out ive been suffering well over 1 year with this and now know its nothing todo with anxitey i will be going mad, but have faith you might well be ok...ian

It is normal with anxiety. Sometimes it happens if you are on decongestants. If they did and ECG and let you home, you must be fine...it sounds like a panic attack.
