migraines and bc pills

im on bc the past year or so. ive noticed it worsens my migraines and im getting them more frequent! just read that people who sufffer migraines especially with aura SHUD NOT take bc pills due to increased risk of stroke! now my doc doesnt know i suffer with migraines. shud i speak to him about it? im seriously considering coming off it now...... have a headache right now and nothing will shift it

When I first went on the pill the Doc told me that if I start getting migraines to go and see her so it's definitley worth a trip to the Doctor before you just stop taking the pills, from there he can tell you whether it's ok to continue or not. I know the notes that come with medication are realllllly scary for people with health anxiety but I tell myself it's just incase anyone sues them if something does go wrong which is rare.
But I'd still say a trip to your Doc would be a good idea atleast it'll ease your mind
