Hi guys,

So I'm really scared now! Since Boxing Day I have had on/off pain/discomfort in my neck and just above the collarbone where the lymph nodes are. I can't see any obvious swelling or feel anything either, it is just uncomfortable.
I've just googled (I know I shouldn't) and it seems the most common cause is cancer! I've got an appt to see a chest specialist in 4 weeks as I've had some blood in my phlegm and also have a constant shoulder ache so putting that together with the lymph node pain and I'm freaking out.
I don't feel like I can go back to the doctors as I was only there last week and I'm pretty sure they put everything down to my HA. I should also say that since the beginning of December I've been really tired all the time.

I don't know what to do.....

Hi

I had neck / shoulder and under arm ache for months and also a pain in my chest going into my back , i thought the worse case senero aswell .

Never found out what it was but it worried me sick , stopped me smokeing straight away and i thought i was done for , but it must have been anxiety / muscler ? as its gone .
The only thing i,m left with is this awefull tight throat feeling and my shoulders still ache but i,m ignoreing that .

Whilst lying awake most of the night worrying I thought of something, in December I had blood tests for anaemia & a CRP blood test to test for any inflammation in the body. If it was the worst case senario would the lymph nodes have shown up as inflammation in the body?

I know I said I couldn't go back to the doctors but I've just booked to see a different GP, one I've not seen before.
I'm hoping he'll be able to give me an unbiased point of view, although I will explain about my HA as he would have obviously read my notes! I just can't stop myself worrying.
