yesterday i felt happy and fine, occasional heart race but ok. Then last night, i did go to bed late and was reading. I felt really wheezy from top of chest to throat, felt really suffocated and couldnt get any air in, i took my inhaler and i felt like i had froze, tried to breathe deeply but my breathing was all shaky when i breathed out not smooth is how i described
i have had before, horrible feeling, like you need to yawn to relieve it!
i felt really weak and had clammy cold hands, my co ordination was out as body was that shaky. what do you think it was? panic attack?hyperventilating? it come on quick!
i did manage to relax byt doing the relaxation method where you tense all muscles and release and i done breathing which in end turned every thing back to normal, could feel pins and needles in fingers as my breathing got better!
thanks xx

Hi Hun

Slight panic no worse than you have dealt with before. A reminder of how you once were but a bigger reminder of how well you have coped and moved forward.

Thinking about you.

Hi Hun

It always does seem worse when you notice it. I am trying to get myself sorted and back to work. Going to Alton Towers this weekend with Si, Sam and Sams friend so that should keep me busy.

Love Sal xx

if there was no trigger...which it sounds like it may have been a panic attack. I t sounds like it.]
Have you been diagnosed with panic disorder or anything?
Everyones attacks are diffferent, I too get that feling of my chest tighteing and I use an enhaler for that (I don't have asthma), and I find it help because it opens your airways....and panic attacks come on suddenly. BUT it could have been that you were just tired, but it sounds like a panic attack to me.
