I am wishing you a very good flight willy! I am going to Cyprus in May, and am sh****ng myself everyday about it! Remember the build up to the flight will be worse than the actual flying bit. Are you going with anyone supportive? And what are you taking if anything? ie rescue remedy etc.

Oh, and make sure your passport hasn't expired! (this happened to me in September! they still let me go, though i was scared all week i wouldn't be able to leave Spain!)

Lots of good wishes to you, you CAN do it.

Love India xx

Hi Will

Well done for being so positive and determined to face this challenge.

I would suggest doing some relaxation tonight. Do you use relaxation CDs or do any formal relaxation? While doing this and feeling relaxed imagine yourself on that flight tomorrow, enjoying the experience and feeling calm.

For the day itself, take plenty of forms of distraction like books and magazines to read, a walkman, puzzle books etc.

There are some posts here that may help too:

Good luck!!

I am envious of you! It's great that you are facing it head on. Good for you!!

I have suffered w/this for 10yrs or so. It is so bad for me that I just can't do it. I admire you a lot for doing it. I wish you a safe and relaxing flight. I wish I had some great advice but I can't even help myself.

You have a lot of courage and that will get you through!!
