Hi guys, quick question.

I was proscribed amoxcillan for my chest infection. have noticed today my anxiety has been quite bad, had a telephone interview and i felt so strange, felt weak and weightless. Has anybodies anxiety ever been made worse by taking this drug? its says on the leaflet it can make anxiety worse but don't most say that?

Hi Jonny

I was prescribed some antibiotics (not amoxycillin) for a stomach infection that drove me to the brink and back with anxiety during last year.

Stuck with them though because the stomach thing was so bad and virtually within 24hrs of finishing the course, the anxiety had subsided.

Keep on going and hope you feel better soon.
