GP asked me to keep her a diary of when I get palpitations, what I was doing at the time they occured, how they feel, other symptoms at same time, how long they last etc.. I asked about a 24 hr monitor and she said it's a possibility but if you aren't getting symptoms every day they don't like to do it as it'd be a bit useless, wouldn't show up any results - she said if from the diary I keep she can see signs that I might need further tests then she'll do that.. She refused to tell me the warning signs of anything serious though - said that would only make me panic more :roflmao:finally feel like I am getting some help! Has anyone else ever had to do similar to this?
