hey, i've been posting messages on the other forums but i thought i better come in here and introduce myself!
well i've suffered attacks since was 17/18 and i am now 23 and the attacks are still here!
the attacks seem to go through stages and i find it really difficult to cope with them which is made worse by the attitudes of people regarding the attacks.
my dr gave me propranalol which helped slightly but i was giving an antidepressent as well but i didn't like it but i changed to another one which worked brilliantly and me and my dr agreed last May i didn't need the medication any more which was not a good idea. I did manage a few months and then i had to go back on the propranalol and then in January i went back on antidepresents again as well and i am stating hypnotherapy soon. At the moment i feel i am a step behind the stage i was at as i thought my attacks were over but maybe they won't ever actually stop. they are so difficult to deal with within seconds i feel like i can't breathe, i get pins and needles in my hands and feet, my chest hurts, i feel i'm not actually in my body and i often faint.
i have found this site amazing and info on it seems really good and everyone so understanding which is great.
