neti-pot - ear pain

used a neti-pot - the nasal irrigation - where you pour water up one nostril and it comes out the other nostril to clear the sinuses.

it was my first time - i didn't tilt my head properly so some of the water went down the back of my throat.

now i have ear pain. is it just water clogging my ear? i am worried that i have given myself an infection.

The ear nose and throat are all connected , ear ache often comes from the throat , ie if you have a sore throat you can get ear ache . At least you know whats caused it , hope it clears up soon
