pain after meals

Hi i was wandering if any ibs sufferers have pain in there upper stomach after eating it feels like my stomach is stretching and spasming its awful and then the pain will move further down after a few hours then my lower bowel will start spasming and also at left side of my belly button is this normal with ibs im so worried x

Yes this can happen .Have you tried taking an antispasmodic ? I take Buscopan and it does stop the spasms that you describe .Avoid the foods on the IBS PAGE ,until it settles down ..Tc.sue

Hi suzy sue yes i take buscopan and colpermin they do help a little its just getting me down now fed up with the pain and trapped wind x
