We all know how nice it feels to be excited

We all know how horrible it is to feel scared

Yet fear and excitement produce exactly the same bodily sensations, but with a different thought attached.

Would we let excitement stop us from doing anything?

Think about that..........

You're absolutely right.
I guess the excitement is accompanied by a positive thought and the fear by a negative thought, thats where the difference is.

I have said that I daren't get excited about anything because if I do I am afraid it will 'tip over' into panic.

Excitement and anxiety produce exactly the same reactions but it is how the feelings are interpreted which is important.

Look forward to something in a positive way and it is excitement.

Dread something and view it negatively and it is interpreted as anxiety.
