View Full Version : Large stool - a*se hurts?
Sorry about the question, but does anyone ever go for monster sized poops?
I am talking approx 3 inches wide and 14-18 inches long. I do these most days and the doctor said I am not that constipated at all, a XRay confirmed that. Too much fibre?
I find i do these and my arse hurts afterwards :(
OMG ..:ohmy:that is rather large .Its bound to hurt afterwards .Are you by chance taking a Fibogel supplement .? It deffinately is too much fibre causing this ,I would think ..I took fibogel and had large stools ,It made my upper bowel sore so I stopped taking so much ..Perhaps you could enter into the Guiness book of records Piers ? sue x

haha, thank you for the replies. They really are that big, my gf didn't believe me so I got her through - she doesn't question that now!
I don't take any fibre pills but I do eat Kellogs Fibre Plus - maybe cut those out...
I drink about 3-4 litres of water a day.
btw Dahlia, my lungs are much bigger than the average so maybe the rest of my organs are?
I need a bigger toilet!

Definately cut down on the Fibre plus ..Porridge is gentler on the stomach.Maybe try that .?I used to eat Bran and it had a bad effect but not that big lol ..

The guys I used to work with used to go on these sites called "rate my picture" and it was where people uploaded pics of themselves and you had to give them a score out of 10.
Anyway one of them found "rate my poo" and it is a similar thing :roflmao:

I will admit a couple of times the drains wouldn't cope so I had to put 'it' in 5-10 plastic bags, then 3 or 4 black bags and put it in the bin.

oh dear my darling, we once had to chop one of my sisters poohs up to get it down loo so I do understand, cut down on the fibre maybe you just need to lubricate before hand as your body obviously need to get rid of things take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

My son did one that was almost the same shape and size as a rugby ball. It refused to die and flush away, so his dad, as a maintenance man, had to use an acid based product to get rid of it. My son still feels proud of this achievement to this day! Boys eh! :shrug:

Not being funny here...and I know I will recieve nasty responses back...but what does this have to do with anxiety or panic or any other mental health issues! Seriously, Piers, if you are worried about how big your poo is, then why not go and ask your gp or cut down on the amount of fibre or food that you are eating!

Id would stop eating the Fibre for breakfast Piers .Have a low fibre diet for a few days and see what happens .You only get rid of what you are eating and its probably due to having a bigger bowel than usual thats causing it ,that and too much Fibre .Being anxious too will make you go more .You Dr isnt very proffessional .Being a patient with Anxiety issues you would think he would be more reasurring ..:lac:Im sure if you do as I suggest it will make some difference .T/c Sue x
I decided to take the advice and cut back on the fibre but add a little Lactulose (doctor prescribe) each day, the last 2 'efforts' have been the same size but a lot easier to pass, thanks for the advice all.

It's brought back bad memories though of a house guest I had over one evening who left me a present of a mammoth poo that wouldn't flush. I had to get my marigolds out and disperse the monster by hand into plastic bags.....I was sick on more than one occasion in the process. I never spoke to the person in question again!! :-D
