Hi all,
I've been seeing a councillor for about 6 months now because of my anxiety when I go to places, mainly just small groups of people e.g family get together or bars/clubs.
The thing is, it's been 6 months and I just don't feel any more able to go to these places. We have done this 'tapping' stuff trying to unblock old negative thoughts and we've talked. That's about it.
I really think it's time to see someone else now because this just doesn't seem to be working.
My question is who though? I don't want to see a different councillor as I feel that will just be the same.
I know things take time etc, but I just feel like talking to her every 2/3 weeks is doing nothing.
Would there be any point in seeing a psychiatrist? I'm not sure who to turn to next.
Thanks for any help and advice,
Tom
