Low Iron??

Just got back from the docs today. I had a CBC profile done, she said my b12 is low and my iron level was 9?? So I should take iron pills and a B complex...

What exactly is a normal iron count? and what does 9 mean? I would have stayed and asked my DR. but I had a bit of a panic and had to rush home where I'm safe :scared10:

What would cause a low iron count and low b12??

i cant answer on the iron but i can on vb12 as i have injections for it every 3 months, low b12 can be caused by poor diet or prenicious aneamia ,its easy treated, has dr said anything about tablets or injections for it ? if not its prob not that low, if worried about it ask the dr as many questions as you can there uually happy to answer them take care
