I feel very jittery today like I drank a ton of coffee but I haven't. I got good sleep and still feel like crap. My left index finger feels like it isn't there (sorry don't know how to describe it). I am really trying to convince myself that this is just anxiety related to having to have a knee surgery but the surger is out-patient only but still freaking me out. I can't focus and I can feel the anxiety in me creeping up about diseases and tumors. Can anyone relate? Sorry for the rambling, I am just a wreck right now.

Hello. I do get strange sensations when I'm anxious, like numbness and tingling somewhere. In fact my thumb has been twitching all week which is quite amusing as I can actually see it jerking about! I'm sure if you are particularly stressed at the moment that your symptom is just another manifestation of anxiety.

Good luck with your surgery by the way. :flowers:

Thanks for the response. I wish I could be confidant enough to be amused by my twitching index finger. It scares me to no end.
