ok so the disgusting and disturbing intrusive thoughts have stopped but i jus cant help but worry about wether or not i cant forgive myself for allowing them to happen what if im in class and they talk about sick minded people i will feel as if im being highlighted and it will start again how do u move on from such thoughts i jus dont know if i can live with the fact i had them :/

Thoughts are thoughts. Just thoughts. They are NOT actions. I think you would be very, very surprised at the fact that every human being has "bad" thoughts. It's what you do with the thoughts that counts. A 2 year old when refused sweets will "hate" its mother and say "I wish you would die". That is the human condition. It doesnt MEAN anything!!
You can't "allow" or "prohibit" thoughts. You cannot NOT think. You CAN however decide to act on the thoughts or not.
Stop beating yourself up overthinker!!
