Hello, noobie's first thread here...
I've been diagnosed with GAD for just over 2 years now (and housebound by it in a form of agoraphobia as well) but there is a perculiarity about it that I've not come across elsewhere.
Specifically, added pressure on or in my abdomen makes me more edgy and anxious; so a large meal, tight clothes and putting weight on. Its not that I am anxious about my appearance or the weight gain itself, but that actual pressure being put on that region which makes me more anxious.
Has anyone else experienced this?
