HA waiting for test results has me over the top

I am a shaking, ball of nerves. I went to a new PCP she had bloodwork done, I'm borderline anemic (11.7). More bloodwork showed my iro stores are low too. I am waiting to hear back from them about a fecal occult, if it's positive I have to go for a colonoscopy.

I am extremely worried, I feel like I can't function today. I am waiting for the phone to ring but I don't want to stay in the house and hear it ring.

I don't know what to do .. I am a mess.

I hope all is ok. I'm being tested for iron deficiency. My iron stores have been low in the past. I should get my results tomorrow.

Try to distract yourself and not worry. 11.7 is fine, your not really anaemic, as a woman your hb should be 11.5-13.5.

All 3 hemacult tests were negative .. thank god.

I got more details on my blood work, there are a number of things that point to a mild anemia.

Dr said to take a good multi vitamin and repeat blood work in 2 months.
