ct scan friday [Archive]

Many of u know been getting horrible chest pains mainly sharp/burning for a while now. Been diagnoised with inflammation of ribs breastbone/ anxiety. Because ive been so worried doc is doing a ct scan friday hopefully then i can put my mind at rest once and for all. Can this scan show most things like inflammation

I have no idea what it will show to be honest. I have had loads of CT scans and it showed my abcesses on the bowel but I don't know about inflammation.

I am sure they know what they are doing with it though.

I,ve never replied to any of your posts before as i didn,t think i could comment as i only get occassional chest pain , nothing like yours .

Your scan will be fine , it is anxiety makeing what you have worse . I really hope this scan puts your mind at rest so you can move on and enjoy your life and your family , you,ll be fine on Friday .:hugs:
