My phone book has a section in the middle called the Blue Pages where thier is the local and government offices. There is also the crisis intervention section which lists all the self help groups like AA, teen runaways etc, look there or call your local hospital information desk and ask or call the crisis intervention line and ask them

All

Don't forget that "No Panic" list any support groups in their magazine. I could start posting some in here I guess as I am a member and some of you may not be.

Will look into it if anyone is interested.

Hiya Ogarchamplin,

Thank you very much for the information.

I will check my phone book for the "Blue Pages". I would like to locate a group here in my area.

I will let you know if I am able to locate one.

Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!

Take care,

P.S. Nic...... Not sure if the "NO PANIC" lists support groups in the US, but if so I would be interested in your posting them :).

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Hiya George

Good luck with your meeting tonight!!!
You are bound to feel nervous..thats natural, im betting the worst you will feel is uncomfortable..just like I did when I went to a group meeting. I was sooooo frightened but then I thought that everyone was in the same situation and its really comforting to know :)

Let us know how you get on?

love Sarah

Hiya George,

Good to hear you have your first meeting tonight.

Don`t worry to much. I`ll bet you will do just fine.

Being nervous is to be expected.

Just remember you will be among your own kind. :)

That should be a bit settling.

Let us know how it goes.

Good Luck!!!!!!

Take care,

Diana xxxx
