I havent had a panic attack in months, my anxiety has been at an all time low and my health anxiety non existant.... then sitting in the car today i started to panic thinking i couldnt breath then the other panic symptoms arrived!! i have no idea why the only thing i can think of is i was really hot and i could feel my heart race increase as it does when we get hot?
Luckily i managed to control the panic before it spiraled out of control!

does this happen to anyone else? its rather ironic that i was discharged from cbt today......:roflmao:

Hi Clairalou,

Maybe because you had been discharged from CBT you subconsiously became anxious? See it as an opportunity for you to put into practice everything you have learnt! You did well controlling the panic before it got worse, just shows you that eventhough you may think having a panic attack now after so long is a step backwards, its not because you can deal with them successfuly now!
