For the last few months I've had tinnitus (Sp?) And headaches on and off. For the last two days the tinnitus has been constant, haven't had a second of relife from it. Also I am now seeing rainbows around bright lights. Got an appointment to see a neurolagist on monday but really scared that its a glucoma (Think thats what it's called)
Anyone ever had the rainbow problem? Really freaking me out as it just wont go away. :(

Have you been to see an optician recently as they are the specialists for eye related symptoms and often know lots more than Drs do. I have no experience of rainbows round lights - I do have severe eye problems with congenital severe short sight and cataracts on both eyes ( these give you a halo round lights) plus retinal bleeds and complications of virtrious detachment so can only pass on experience and knowledge of these problems.

An optician would also pick up gluacoma instantly as they test for this during every eye test.

I would recommend an eye test. If you have glaucoma it needs to be treated, the sooner the better. I know it's scary but you need to know what's causing your symptoms. If nothing is wrong at least they can put your mind at rest which will relieve your anxiety, and if there is something wrong they can treat your symptoms and help you. Please be brave and get your eyes tested. :flowers:

Don't even know what glaucoma is, not even gunna google it tho.

My Dr checked my eyes thoroughly 2 days ago ( i know he aint an eye expert) but surely it would of shown up then??

Other people seem to say its anxiety tho but i dno :/
