Upper Back Pain

Smoker with a very guilty conscience. I have quite bad upper back pain and I keep worrying that it might be the dreaded c. I want to google it but know I will end up in a terrible state. Can anyone help? I can't go to the Doc's as I know he will send me for a x ray and I know I'll freak out and end up in tears. Would be grateful of any help. Thanks

Iv had upper back pain ever since i had the anxiety. It gets so bad sometimes i could cry with the pain. The doctor told me its the anxiety which makes me so tense. I never got sent for an xray.

Im sure it wont be anything bad, of course im not a doctor, but iv suffered with it for about 7 years now on and off. Whenever my anxiety is bad, my back plays me up.
