Hi
I cant quite believe that I am finally ready to admit that I have a problem as I have been hiding it for so long. I have had a fear of having panic attacks for five years and it has managed to take over my life. I have finally admitted that I have a problem and it is so scary but finding this amazing site has definitely helped. It means so much to realise that I am not the only person and that I am not clinically mad!

Hi Sam, Welcome to the forum, you will get loads of help and support here from people who know what you are going through. It took me ages to accept that my symptoms were due to anxiety and panic attacks and not some life threatening disease. Once I accepted it I could then take steps to conquer my fears and try to get my life back. Finding this website has helped me so much as I know I am not alone and neither will you be from now on.
Take care
