I had all my fears put to rest on Monday, felt good all the way til Tuesday evening when I went out with a few friends.
Now, there's been a HOAX email going around for a while about a girl sitting on a seat in a cinema, and getting pricked by a syringe and thus injected with HIV.
With this in mind, I've been paranoid about all my public seating, in case anyone actually did it. I'd been sitting there on a train seat for a long time but suddenly felt a tiny prick on my arse. I checked the seat exhaustively by pressing my hand into it (mostly expecting there to not be a needle) and of course I didn't find any. I later felt it again in a different spot on the same seat after I'd been sitting back down a while.
I then felt it later when I was getting up from a different seat. I'm worried that was just my mind playing tricks on me and the initial pricks were real, a syringe needle.
But my mind just can't accept I'd pushed my hands into the seat really hard searching and not been impaled so there must've been no needle. I instead feel bad like it's another health worry, but this time I'm sure I'm being silly, but I can't shake the feeling. What could've been making the pricking feeling? My pants? I had the feeling twice today (wearing the same pants just in case) but I'm worried my mind's just playing tricks on me again. Never really noticed it before on trains.
Would it be possible for a twisted person to lift up a standard train (not tube) seat and put a syringe, pointing up, underneath it, and put the seat back down again so it doesn't look like there's anything under the seat? I didn't try coz my friends were right there.
