View Full Version : Sore Skin
Hello,
Does anyone else suffer fom sore/sensitive skin? The skin aroung the inside of my knes and thighs seems to be very sensitive. I've had this a for a few months now on and off. Is this related to anxiety or something more sinister? It seems hat as sson as one symptom goes another one will appear.:(
Thanks,
Stuart
Hi Stuart,
When I was acute, I used to get this from time to time, in different places. The skin would feel very sensitve. I used to think it felt like a minor burn. The symptom never lasted for a long period of time, but would come and go. Not had this symptom in along time.
My daughter suffered anxiety from a very early age and she had this symptoms too.
I can't say why it happens, but it does go in time.
Hope this helps

Yeah I have had that too mate, for me it kind of feels strange just above my knees on the front of both of my legs, especially when my jeans rub against it. Kind of feels as though my skin is somehow extra sensitive to clothes or something :S I have had this symptom on and off for months and while I have no idea what actually is the direct cause of it, it is certainly as a result of anxiety for sure ;)
My skin is sensitive. A few months ago I got very dry skin and also some ezcema.
More recently, I have gone red when subject to hot water, felt tingling in the mouth when air freshener stuff is in the air too.

hi,
i get sore/sensative skin aswell. mine tends to feel like i have a bruise but there's not one there. i get it quiet regular and had a case of it last week in my face. not sure why tho. just another mystery of the way anxiety works on our bodies i suppose.
