So sorry to be posting and bothering you all yet again, people on this forum must be getting sick of the sight of my username but my HA is so bad right now I'm a complete shambles and I have nowhere else to turn short of walking into a psychiatric unit and asking them to admit me.
I am in an outright panic about lymphoma now and I am really starting to think that this time I may be right about my fears as I have so many of the symptoms. I don't actually feel ill but I'm often tired, have regular night sweats, strange pains in my neck, chest and arms and 15 or 20 little blood spots under my skin (really tiny like pinpricks) and at least one long-term enlarged lymph node. My GP says the node I'm worried about is within normal size ranges but has ordered a full blood count which I'm having next Tuesday. Has anyone had symptoms like these? Also, how common is lymphoma/blood cancers generally? I've tried researching it but the information is so confusing, some sources say rare, other say it's quite a common cancer; some say it's more common in older people, others say more common in young people. So confused and afraid. Does anybody have any advice or experience to share please?
Once again, apologies for another post but I'm very grateful to anyone who has the patience to read it, thanks x
