Hello stephr1980,

I have taken Mirtazapine for many years, at 45mg per day. The drowsiness definitely wears off, so that it does not affect me during the day. I take it last thing at night and it tends to help me sleep. For the first few months of taking it I remember feeling completely wiped out in the daytime too.

Matthew.
