My name's david, i'm 23 years old. My diagnosis is bi-polar disorder with psychotic features. I'm still new to all this mental illness stuff; diagnosed 16 months ago. For me the hardest part about being mentally ill is the confusion going on in my mind, or what is sometimes called disorganized thinking: a word for me that I think combines distorted thinking, having big unmanageable thoughts, and the occasional auditory hallucinations.
I have been searching everywhere for lessons on how to recover, hoping to accumulate knowledge to fight my anxiety and depression. I hope I can find help here, and be helpful to people here in return. There's nothing more isolating and lonely than taking on an illness by yourself. So hello everyone, and good day!
