hyperventilating and asthma

does anyone else with asthma take panic attacks that cause them to hyperventilate? i know asthma and hyperventilating ae both totally different but for some reason i panic about my hyperventilating bringing my asthma on?

Hi crazy, Dont you worry and if it makes you feel better you post as often as you want as this site was desighned to help each other. My son has anxiety and sufferes from asthma. But I dont think his anxiety triggers asthma. But there again we are all different. hope you feel better soon. Vernon

thanks vernon. i think it does affect everyone differently. my dr says it is smething to be catious about but yesterday was the first time i ever actually wheezed during an attack. it was a bad attack and i was hyperventilating for a long time but it causes me more concern.
