Seroxat to Sertraline

Started sertraline 50mg two weeks ago after been off and on seroxat for 17 years, lost my job and hurt my back which all my panic attacks and anxiety returned.

My question is I am feeling more anxious on these tablets and I have this heavy feeling on my chest, how long should I try these tablets, can't do with this anxiety I have to take my son to school and pick him up and its becoming an ordeal on these tablets and all I want to do is sleep.

Hi Nene, i have been on setroline for 8 days and am also experiencing the heavy chest feeling. I think it is a side effect and should subside once the tablets take effect. Its a horrible feeling, not a pain as such, just your aware of it all the time.x
