false nails!

In an attempt to be more girlie I've booked myself an appt to get some false acrylic nails tonight. I was excited so googled acrylic nails and of course now I've read lots of horror stories about allergic reactions :(.

I have sensitive skin and didn't even think about being allergic to them... and now I don't know whether or not to go. :weep:

I suppose this is a challenge isn't it!! I just wondered if anybody here had acrylic nails and could give me a little bit of the ole reassurance hehe... or atleast tell me to stop being so silly!

I have unbareably sensitive skin and I've had acrylic nails sooo many times!
After you have them done your nails may hurt for a day or so, like you've trapped the top of your finger in a door or something. Don't worry about this though, it's normal, your nails just aren't used to being so pampered!
I love it when I've had my nails done, makes your hands look nice and elegant :)
