fear of metronidazole

Hi everyone me again. I've been prescribed metronidazole anti-biotics and just can't bring myself to take them because scared of reacting to them. I've read they can abuse palpatations and drowsiness. Can anyone give me a bit of advice

Hi, I had these for a dental abscess and had no adverse reaction and they did work. Made my root canal possible :)

I was warned several times by dentist to definitely not drink (started to get paranoid that he thought I had a drink problem!). Apparently with alcohol they can make you very sick - the root canal guy said they give to alcoholics to make them stop drinking.

Anyway, just wanted to say I stayed off alcohol and took them as prescribed and was fine. x

Hi thanks for posting. I don't drink so that part dunt bother me. I think its wen people are saying it made them feel dizzy it puts me off it.i know i need to take them but gettin that first dose down my neck is proving to be difficult x
