am i having a heart attack, heart rate -80-140, pain below breasts, breathing difficulties, age 23. smoker 8 stone 10. My doc said i had a irregular heart beat when i was 18 am i going to die

hi not a doctoir hunni but your heart rate doesnt seme bad to me mine was 140/90 the other day when i was anxuioius and doc said that was fine if your relly worried give nhys direct a call, but you are sat on this and sure you wouldnt be if it was a heart attack xx

i manxious about heart rate always, 80 -140, i smoke 10 a day too, but it hurts across my diaphram.

About 8 weeks ago i had chest pains and my bp was 154-128 pulse rate was 130 turns out it was a panic attack i phoned my dr and then went to a&e . I felt a fool but was told they are here to help if needed so i would give your gp or nhs direct a call just to put your mind at ease.

Hi,

It sounds like you were possibly hyperventilating which caused the symtoms you described.

The irregular heart beat is possibly unrelated to this, my auntie has an irregular heart beat and she's been fine with it for many years.

Are you taking anything for your panics?

no i end up calling a ambulance because of pain , not breahting properly and always measuring my heart rate :-(

it feels like a pressure, along the diaphram, painkillers dnt work

I assume if you called an ambulance before they checked you out?

It may sound strange have you and fizz pop at home if pain is below the chest could be a bad case of the dreaded trapped wind.
And then a good nights sleep:hugs:
