Looking for some advice about the Pill please...

Hi. I have been with my boyfriend for almost 2 and a half years now and really want to go on the pill. Problem is, my anxiety is getting the better of me which has been putting me off. My doctor gave me the pill back in September last year however she wanted me to have some blood tests done to check for clotting as my Mum had a blood clot just after she had me. I've been putting them off for so long and have finally decided to go and get the tests and I am having them done tomorrow. Thing is, I just keep thinking about all the side effects and bad things the pill can cause (this was after reading the slip I got inside the box). I am just wondering if anyone else has ever been the same and have been slightly dubious to go on the pill? It is about time I got a decent method of contraception! Thanks x

There are so many to try you will find one that suits you.

I think I tried 3 to find this one I am on and have been on for 10 years! No side effects, all I get is a headache the whole week I am on but I could get that anyway :)
