Erythromycin antibiotic and palpitations

My partner has been on Erythromycin for sinusitis for a few days now, and has been experiencing occasional heart palpitations while on them, is this something to be rushing to a&e about? is it an allergy, or a common side effect? I'm worrying! (as usual!)

Palpitations are more frequent when you're ill. Everytime I get a cold or flu or anything that makes me feel sick I get them more. Palps are harmless, remember that. No need to go to the hospital or anything like that, he's fine. It's completely normal. When he starts to feel better the palps will ease.
