Pain and "popping" in sternum!

I've started with a pain and a "popping" sensation in my sternum now.... anyone got any ideas of what could be causing this! I'm at the end of my tether here! It's just one thing after another and I don't really see the point of going back to my doctor as she'll only say the 3 dreaded words... "it's just anxiety".

I honestly feel that there is something seriously wrong with me! I just want my life back!

Hi PP19, hahah I know what you mean "its just anxiety"....
No, this happens because of the connective muscles and the way they attach to the sternum. Mine pops everytime I stretch or yawn, nothing to worry about ok.

sounds like ectopic beats. i went through a period of over a year with them. they have gone now.
