Hi, well, I've posted about my chronic pressure headaches which are apparently related to cervical dysfunction of my neck. Had MRI of brain and X-rays of neck - all were clear. Yet this pressure headache continues and sometimes ends up in throbbing pain - sometimes just a feeling of pressure - but something is there ALL THE TIME (which is driving me mad).
Last Friday I had my neck cracked for the first time and all symptoms seemed to disappear for two days, then everything gradually came back - only pain a bit more on the other side of my head. Went today and the dr. cracked my neck all sorts of ways and my back all the way down. He said I have trouble with mobility and need to loosen everything up and then begin with neck exercises.
The sad/frustrating part is that I don't have that feeling of relief today that I had last week. He gave me Arcoxia to take one a day for the next week. I am going on holiday to the States on Sunday for two weeks and I am so afraid that I am going to be busy with my head the whole time.
Could I be causing this feeling of pressure/pain through my own anxiety? I have had it except for a few weeks around Xmas and a few sets of days here and there since 2 Nov 2010. I have reduced my stress and tried to change all sorts of aspects of my lifestyle to get rid of this headache, but nothing seems to work. I almost don't know what it feels like to not have a headache. Do you know of anyone who experienced this? Did it finally go away? I feel so alone with this problem - really need reassurance at the moment - thanks.
