Hi am 27 and a longterm sufferer from depression and other problems. I was looking for a local support group I could join and stumbled upon this site.

I'm having a tough time at the moment and am not sure where to turn, when I feel especially down I drink and that causes many problems, it turns me into someone am not, which causes more problems. I'm feeling particularly worthless and like a loser.

I'd really like to get a chance to talk to others who share similar problems.

Are you writing about you or me?

I too have turned to alcohol with predictable results.

I am now getting treatment but it is a very long and scary road.
