View Full Version : Tips Please
Hi everyone, I would appreciate your advice - I am doing OK at present - on a nice even patch - but those worries and the panic/anxiety are forever popping up (the what ifs!). I want to break the cycle any advice??????
Thanks in advance

Hi Pinky
Sounds like your doing great - not sure if I can give you any tips though!! I guess time is what you need now. As your 'even patch' carries on, the worries and panic should get less and less. Its hard to do, but when the worries/panic pops in, try and tell yourself its OK and carry on doing whatever your doing. I saw a CBT therapist and he said to accept everything (even say it out loud ' Ok I'm feeling dizzy') and then carry on - if you try to push the worries out of your mind then they'll keep popping back in. Most of the time it works for me!!!
