how long after a panic attack do you start to feel better? or totally fine. i took an attack today around 3 and i did hyperventilate a lot during the attack although not as much as i have done in the past and i was still really shaky up until after i finished my shift. and i finished at 8. i felt awful, shaky and lightheaded til i left but i knew i couldn't leave early as my work are "supporting me to stay at work" and are making changes to help me deal with attacks so i stay at work after attacks etc and can deal with them at work but in the past i've been fine withing an hour or so and i just felt this went on for ages.
