Hi I am trying to come off venlafaxlin and on to mirtazapine. Had to get Diazepam yesterday as the panics are really bad. I am worried about everything in my life and just don't know where to turn to for help. I am doing the head in thesand thing at the moment but that will not help in the long run I know. Am hoping to get some useful advice from people who have been in similar situations when coming off venlafaxin.:unsure:

Hi marnie.
I stopped taking Venlafaxine 2 weeks ago and went straight onto Fluoxetine.
Initially the switch went well, but after 4 or 5 days i realised the Fluoxetine was having really bad effects on me.
Its been 6 days since i took one and yes, its rough. I am suffereing terribly with panic attacks, but things have been stressful for me this past year so they may be because of that.

I found lots of exercise (running for me) and essential oils in a burner helped. :)
