Hi im new to this, just joined.. want to know if anyone else gets a racing heartbeat for no reason? I suffer from agrophobia but i feel these fast heartbeats has nothing to do with anxiety, or I may be wrong. Anyone else get them out the blue? They really scare me.

The fast heartbeat is quite common with anxiety,i get them all the time and so do a lot of others so try not to worry yourself to much.Are you on any meds a the moment cos when i first started citalopram my heartbeat was really bad,but 3 months in i rarely get them at all hope this helps ease your worrys rgds scott.

Scott I am on anti depressants but they don't seem to be doing much to be honest. I'm also on beta blockers which do help but still get a fast rythem with them but less often. But thanks for your message. Speak soon x
