I think I must've had this "tension headache" for about 5 months now.
My head feels tight, like in a clamp, either side and front to back.
The joining bit where my skull meets my spine is tight, my shoulders are tight, my neck muscles are tight, my arms even feel tight and sore.
My back feels horrible, like my shoulder blades are being squeezed together sometimes.
It literally feel like if you were wearing a hat that was much too small for your head and everything was just being sqeezed.
Can't be tension if it lasts this long surely?

Yes I have had them for months too same symptoms as you. Try some syndol or codine.

Hi
Tension headaches are awful, I've suffered with them for a few years and syndol is the only thing that works for me. Hope it eases off for you soon.
Take care

A good massage should help as well

Took the words right out of my mouth! Anxiety sufferers tend to hold a lot of tension in their shoulders which can result in a sore neck and tension headache. I NEED regular massages as opposed to just pampering myself to stop this happening. Painkillers don't help it at all.

Yeah, I too swear by syndol, although they do make me drowsy.

Also, when I last went on citalopram and that helped with the tension.

Its a fabulous feeling when you do eventually wake up without a bad head - I sympathise.
