Quite often I suffer from breathlessness I think its a case of Im over breathing, but what also seems to happen is I seem to get breathless as Im eating or after eating, I wondered if other anxiety sufferers experience this?

Yep, I used to get it all the time. I still do occassionally. It is definitely a case of hyperventilating. Try some breathing exercises to steady your rate of breathing. You can actually sign up for breathing classes or meditation specific to anxiety in a lot of places, so have a search online for somewhere near you. In reference to eating, it is likely that you are breathing too quickly and not getting rid of enough carbon dioxide while your oxygen is being directed mainly to your stomach to help digest food. Try breathing slowly and deeply (in for 7 seconds, out for 9 seconds - or as long as you can) after you eat and you may find that it helps.

Good luck!
