Just one thing to say really DON'T GOOGLE!!! and trust your Dermatologist - he is used to you and treating you so he is best placed to advise you.

You will be fine :D

Don't trust anything you read on google. Remember, anyone can post on google, even a 5 year old. Your dermatologist is the most knowledgeable person in regards to skin issues, and he is definitely the one you should listen to. They are extremely well trained and would notice even the slightest thing of concern :)

If you are still concerned you could go to see your doc but I would say your dermatologist knows what he is talking about. Perhaps see if the dermatologist would be willing to remove whats left of the mole just so you won't have to worry about it anymore. It couldn't hurt :)
Google is a no no for any health anxiety sufferer.
You could have a simple headache (for example) and google it and before you know it you've diagnosed yourself with a tumor or brain aneurysm!
Been there and done that myself ;)

I know how hard it is to get past these feelings and I truly hope that you find some piece of mind soon! (((HUGS)))

Your dermatologist gets paid to know what they are looking for, remember there is no benefit for them to overlook anything at all.

Remember how good you felt when you came out of your appointment and the relief of knowing you'd had an expert look at your skin and tell you there was nothing of any concern and hold that thought.

Google is evil...no good comes from googling at all because you will find hundreds of sites that back up what your doctor has told you but the ONE that contradicts will be the one that will stick in your mind and torture you.

Also, it's not only the derm that has told you that there's nothing to worry about, you've also seen your own doc, who is a skin specialist.

Try and list all the reasons why you can be reassured that there is nothing to worry about, remember your thought record/diary from your CBT sessions. Work through it and you will feel better.

You know where I am if you need anything:hugs:
