Hi

Does anyone recommend making a list of my symptoms to take to my doctor? As it stands everytime i go i always tend to focus on one thing rather than everything. I always forget important things.

The only problem is the list is so long the Dr will just take 1 look and tell me im suffering with anxiety/stress but im sure its not entirely down to anxiety although i do panic and worry about my symptoms alot

My list so far

Headache (Usually Left Sided)
Eye Floaters (Left eye)
Eye Flashing / Flickering
Ringing / Pulse in ears mainly left side
Blurry / Wobbly Vision
Colours appear diffrent in each eye
Chest pain (Varys from constant discomfort to sharp pain)
Indigestion / Heartburn daily
Extreme Pain below chest on right hand side (usually worse after eating)
Cloudy Urine (Sometimes with white substance in)
Loose Stools (All the time)
Pulse feeling froom left side of head
Pulse feeling from entire left hand side (Constantly)
Pain in back below ribs sometimes same position on the front
Right side jaw clicking and sticking
Palpitations (sometimes palipitations are painful)
Intense shoulder / Neck pain
Lightheaded and feeling of passing out (worse when excersizing or walking)
Sensitivity to light (Some shops are really bad)
Eyes sometimes arnt in sync (One will stay looking ahead if i move eyes to look at something)

Now i know i just make myself worse with all this by worrying and being concerned but all this seemed to stem from a simple ear infection..or at least thats what i was told i had.

its starting to affect me whole life now badly ive had to give up playing football as i feel im about to faint as soon as i run, Im being told i seem to be moody and down all the time and this is affecting my relationship and freindships etc.

Blood test results all came back perfect is was a fasting one so im not sure exactly what it was they were checking for
.
Blood Pressure is slightly elavated between 130/85 as high as 152/87
Resting Heart Rate is higher then usual for someone my age

I am 24 and male.

Have been waiting to be refered to an eye specialist regarding my eyes but im abit more concered its neurogical rather than my actual eyes as doctor says my eyes appear fine

I hate going to the doctor too and listing everything that is wrong with me because they do always tell you that its anxiety. Why is this so hard for us to accept? I made another appt with my psychologist today thats in 2 weeks to get seen about these problems im always focused on.

Today im feeling very weak, woozy in head, and tightness/pains in chest. This is going to be gross, but i went to bathroom about an hour ago and had no blood on stool or in toliet but my tissue was covered in it when i wiped and i wasnt that constapated. So now that just makes matters worse.

I get the eye floaters too at least once a day and also worry about my BP when it gets 130/80 something. I am trying to hold back from making myself another doctor appt, because i keep thinking i have colon cancer or something and its making my anxiety levels rocket right now. So hard to accept anxiety when the symptoms are so very physical and come out of the blue at times, it really does feel like theres a disease that you have or dying from, this is what happens in my head all the time, i just hate it so much.

I had a list longer than that when I went to the Dr, they scared the hell out of me "Have you lost weight", "lost your appetite?", "noticed any lumps or bumps"...
So you're asking me if there's a chance I could have cancer right?
Then they try and convince me it's anxiety, after fuelling my anxiety!

Hey,

I made a huuuuge list for my doctor after I was struck down with severe panic and anxiety after some travels (althugh we had no idea it was anzxiety related then). I was lucky enough to have a fanastic doctor who looked into all of my symptoms and did a lot of blood tests and other tests to check for other problems before ruling it down to anxiety.

I think a lists of your symptoms will be handy, but try to order them from most significant to least, which will help your doctor to make a decent judgement :)

Hi
iv thought the same about making a list but my list would be sooo long and i know i wouldnt be taken seriously - so i havnt bothered!
But looking at your list i have mentioned the majority of them to the doctor over time, especially eye sight things, the doctor said to go to the opticians and so i did and then went back with the result that my eyes were fine and he just put it down to my anxiety.
Im 23 and my blood pressure varies but i always have a fast pulse and get palpatations all the time! Im always feeling dizzy and if i walk up a small hill i feel worse also and it prevents me from doing a lot of things.
