Hi everyone,
I found this site by accident after searching the internet for help with a few problems I was facing. Most search results were making me feel much worse about my situation and helpless - there are some horrible people out there! But then, as I was about to ban myself from googling anxiety/depression/relationship worries, I did one final search and the result was a thread from a forum on here! It made me realise that I am most definitely not alone and, more importantly, not crazy! It also made me realise that I have anxiety, not depression. I went to my doctor yesterday who diagnosed depression and prescribed citalopram and counselling for me. It feels like I'm talking the first steps on a long road, and I'm glad I'm not the only one!
